The IPMed project is an initiative of JIT Solutions and Gdańsk University of Technology, focused on innovative IT solutions for medicine. The topics of the project include the data and service integration in a distributed environment of hospitals and research centers, integration with medical devices and advanced data analysis.
One of project's components, Recommender Application, provides support in the treatment of people suffering from a brain stroke. After reaching the hospital, patients undergo detailed examinations - including interview and impedance electrocardiography (ICG). The resulting data is analyzed with IPMed system - as a result, clinical recommendations are be presented in the Recommender Application. Application if available both in form of a web application, and in a simplified form as a mobile application (phones, tablets) - so that the system can quickly provide recommendations to the doctor.
