3D liver segmentation & reconstruction
The project aims at fully automatic segmentation and 3D model reconstruction of human liver, using high-quality Computed Tomography scans.
Main tasks:
- collecting medical database of high quality CT scans of human abdomen
- manual segmentation and annotation of human liver, including parenchyma, veins and tumors
- implementation of algorithms (utilizing deep neural networks and medical image processing methods) allowing fully automatic segmentation and 3D model construction of liver
- visualisation of generated 3D models
The project is in realization in cooperation with Medical University of Gdańsk and Excento sp. z o.o.
